About Me

I'm Jenna Caspary, an artist based in Sydney, Australia. When I'm not covered in paint, you can find me playing tennis, cooking, or taking peaceful walks along the beach, soaking in the beautiful sunrises and sunsets that inspire my work.

I grew up with three brothers, which made me cherish quieter activities like cooking and painting. My love for art led me to work with oil paints, creating unique, bespoke pieces that bring beauty and life into everyday spaces.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from UNSW Art & Design in 2020 and have participated in many exhibitions since then. In 2018 I was selected to go to New York for an art internship. In 2019, I was a finalist in the Youth Art Prize at Mosman Art Gallery and won the Summer School Scholarship at The Julian Ashton Art School. My art has found homes in Australia, the USA, the UK, and South Africa.

I focus on capturing the fleeting beauty of flowers, often painting them on a larger-than-life scale to highlight their intricate details. My process involves handpicking flowers, photographing them, and then spending months bringing them to life on canvas, leaving parts of the raw linen visible for a natural touch.

Recently, I’ve been experimenting with pairing flowers with wallpaper-like backgrounds to add a bit of extra charm. Through my art, I aim to create spaces that bring joy, inspiration, and a sense of calm to people's lives.
