One of the reasons I frequently paint flowers is because they radiate beauty and bring life into a room. Unlike real flowers that have a short lifespan, my paintings will last for centuries.

I focus on the intricate details of my subject matter and on the negative spaces in the work, which is accentuated by my choice to leave my linen canvas unpainted in the background which shows off the beauty and prestige of this linen.
